A lot of people over the last 15-20 years have come to me at some point and said: "You remind me of John Candy." They always say it a little awkwardly, like I'll take offence because he spent most of his career looking a lot heavier than me. To be honest, I always consider it a great honour. To go about this world with even 100th of his spirit is the best we can ever hope to achieve. We should all strive to be more like John Candy to one another. Truly, the better human being at every opportunity. He passed away 32 years ago today. If only he could see just how beloved he'd still be all these years later. A true hero of mine, and of many. #johncandy
