The picture shows on the right side, too very thick trunk, evergreen trees, missing the lower branches and covered in moss. There is a small clearing with tall evergreen trees at the far side with few branches. In the foreground are saplings between one and 1/2 feet to 3 feet tall with many evergreen branches and needles. In front of the large trunked trees is a remnant of a midsize tree, broken off and slightly angled back towards them. Moss also extends along the exposed roots of the trees. The sunlight comes through the trees and hits the large trunk trees, and several of the small saplings, one which looks like it is in a spotlight.

The image shows a decaying fallen tree. Everything is moist after a rain. There are very thin layers of split bark in the middle section of the tree horizontally. Both the near and far sections of the Fallen tree are covered with moss and small ferns. A thick layer of mainly orange and red fallen leaves provide a visual contrast on either side of the fallen tree.

A grey dirt path extends from the right lower corner to 2/3 of the way into the picture and then fades from view. 5 foot wide, but only 6 inch tall gray rock. The same color is in the middle lower part of the picture with several smaller gray rocks closer to the viewer. Beyond the wide gray rock is a low moss covered rock in the center of the picture jutting slightly to the left. Three smaller rocks angled in different directions on the dirt are also covered in a thin green moss. A clump of deciduous trees is in the upper left corner.
The upper right corner has a row of deciduous trees along the path extending into the distance.
Sunlight hits low trees and bushes beyond the described trees, creating dimension as a lighter green is in the distance

A decaying grey stone wall angles from upper left of the picture to bottom right. The wall is covered in splotchy bright green patches of moss along with dark areas of rock. The left side of the picture shows rocks that have fallen from the wall covered in green moss , and in some instances covered with a slight amount of moss. Ferns and small low vegetation poke between sticks and leaves among the rocks on the ground.

This photo captures an Eastern grey squirrel in a natural setting, holding and eating a red mushroom near the base of a tree. The squirrel is positioned on leaf-covered ground, surrounded by sparse green grass and some Spanish moss.

Two grey rocks covered in lichen extend 45° from left bottom section of picture to the right mid section of the photograph. The left lower to left upper side of the photo, The sun hits gray rock brightly. The rocks are at least 6 inches in height and stacked like pancakes with a few smaller rocks stacked in between as the layers of rock have broken up overtime. On top of that stack of rocks is a layer of moss. That horizontal layer of moss is now sprouting grass and other small bush like vegetation. On the angled rock (Right), is a similar layer of moss. It has individual fern fronds extending from it along with some small low grasses. the angled rock is covered in various colors and textures of lichen. On the second angled, grey rock is another layer of moss without the addition of other plant life. Between some of the rocks in the left stack, a small, maybe 1 foot rhododendron , bush extends sideways from the rock. Above the upper angled rock, one sprig of Rhododendron extends as a new bush with several branches with the entire bush no more than 18 inches. The upper right corner of the picture has low deciduous bushes, extending forward toward the angled rock.

Beside a trail, almost like a little bench is a yellow and green moss covered rock. The mossy rock has several inward curves on the sides, but is relatively flat on top. Near the center of the rock a fern sends out fronds to form a circle, and with the points on the fern, creates almost a star of ferns. At the edge of the path to the left of the rock is another grouping of fern. 3 inch wide deep green leaves, from a low Vining plant, wet from the rain, fill the lower right portion of the picture. The upper portion of the picture is a tangle of thin rhododendron branches, and large oval green Rhododendron leaves.

A foot and a half tall tree stump emerges from the middle of a dirt path.A patchy thin layer of moss forms a beard spreading at the bottom of the tree stump. Several fern fronds curve in different directions around the moss. Two yellow and brown half Circle mushrooms emerge from the tree trunk with the larger one about 3 inches higher. The background shows the forest path with light throwing shadows from off screen tree branches. The tree trunk and pass are about the same color grayish Brown, leaving the greens of the moss and ferns a nice contrast along with the yellow and brown mushrooms.

On the far left of the picture, a dirt and rock path curves from the left side toward the center of the picture. Several tall trees, some gray, some brown rise beside the path. The left lower to right upper corners of the photo are covered with broken Old and worn rock with white and dark gray splotches. Parts of the rocks are worn and curved, while other angles of the rock are straight and angular. Happy bright green moss randomly covers flat surfaces on the rocks on the right. Wild flower leaves grow among the dark brown soil at the base of the rocks. A few maple trees, about the same height of the wild flowers, are also trying to grow amongst the rocks.

The photo shows an expanse of moss slightly lumpy in places, all relatively uniform in bright yellow green color with full sun. A few scattered wild flowers punk up around the edges. Some type of bush along the top edge of the photo.
