Just finished listening to #IfWeWereVillains by #MLRio. I know it’s early in the year but this is my favourite read so far. I was totally hooked, and while I pieced together how it might end, I was still caught off guard in a good way. The foreshadowing and setup was just 👩🍳

I have a sweet spot for Rio's writing and her self-insert here. I would have preferred the plot across a Whole novel and a little more worked out, but the prose are good. 4 on the high end but still really good

Finished If We Were Villains a few days ago. 4.75/5 🌟. I loved this so much. Weirdly co-dependent college kids is one of my favorite genres. This is right up there with The Secret History.
