In #OTJ they made sure to erase traces of colonialism by claiming the plane was uninhabited (although there's a native cactus-folk race).
And now in #Aetherdrift the whole storyline is based on Avishkar using a race as a colonialism tool.

1-0-2 at tonight's #MagicMates #OTJ draft with a 4x Raven WB crimes deck splashing Intimidation Campaign.
Deck was tricky to play which certainly ate into my time. Had some cute synergies but nothing super special. The wrath was pretty great given my creatures were so small!

🏆7-1 with a fairly unusual RW #OTJ draft that played out surprisingly well. Creatures were small and had lots of instants which combined nicely with Getaway Glamer.
16 lands + Silver Deputy was a sweet spot to avoid flooding, plus the mercenary pump on the fliers was relevant.
