Sunset from the beach looking out onto the Pacific Ocean, the water creates an almost scale like appearance as the shallowest waves overlap on the sand. In the middle of this is the hulking dark metal framework of what is left of the Peter Iredale, a four masted barque that wrecked on the Oregon coast near the mouth of the Columbia River, in 1906. There is so little left now she is barely recognizable as a ship.
Similar to the first picture, a sunset snap over the ocean, with the metal remains of the Peter Iredale in the center, but on this one the waves end just after they've passed her, and the beach between the wreck and the photographer is largely wave free, but the water that still sits in the wave patterned sand reflects the wreck, looking like a few black horse, upside down, drinking water.
Another picture of the wreck of the Peter Iredale, though this one is taken south of the wreck and includes not only her bow, but also some of her spine. Most of the picture, the bottom 2/3 is the wet rippled sand, then some gentle pooled waves, then the wreck to the upper left, then the sunset, all tans and oranges, yellows and black.
