I'm not the first photographer to make a pilgrimage to the spot from where Frank made his well-known and evocative image back in 1956. This capture was made sixty-nine years later.
It's interesting to know that the quiet and unassuming image that Frank made, and chose for his book, The Americans, had such an impact on so many practitioners of the craft.
