Email text from the BBC complains department essentially stating that Rylan Clark is not subject to BBC editorial standards as he’s not directly employed. Freelancers can, apparently, say whatever they like.
As per usual, the BBC’s standards are very much inconsistent.
I wrote to the BBC to complain about Rylan’s comments - essentially stating that I felt his remarks were inconsistent with BBC editorial standards even if this program was on ITV.
