The inside of the collar closure section of my Elven cloak costume piece. The cloak is made from a neutral grey-green fabric, and is sitting on a wooden floor. The closure section includes several metal closure devices (shaped vaguely like the outline of a goldfish cracker) which have been crudely sewn onto the inside of the cloak with grey thread. Frayed threads from the hems are all over the place.
My elven cloak was badly in need of some repairs. The fasteners that I had originally added to it were not designed to hold something closed in the way that I had positioned them, and so all of the weight of the closure wasβ¦
