Created two years apart, these paintings are connected and go together. They have an accompanying poem that will be displayed with them at my upcoming solo exhibit. I can't wait.

This is a promo for an art show by the artist Angie Huffman called Relative. It will be held at Hudson River Gallery in Coralville, Iowa, from January 30th through March 7th in 2026. A reception will be held from 6 to 8 pm on the 30th. Behind this information is a tinted cropping of a photorealist oil painting with a baby smiling towards the viewer on the ground towards the bottom left, an older girl side-eying the viewer at the right, and another figure cut off at the top left. Different colored cube shapes randomly surround them.
Two weeks from today Relative will open at Hudson River Gallery. It is my first local solo show in years and my last solo show on the books at any location at this time.
