Dry colourful crop of quinoa. Tall plants in various greens, yellows, reds and browns. Tall mature trees in the background against a blue sky dotted with clouds.
A red and brown quinoa head bowing to the left. Blurry stalks of it behind. The seeds are bunched up at the top of the plant making the head droop with the weight.
Amongst this crop are dying heads of sunflowers. Leaves on the stalk are still green but the yellow petals are long gone.
Cloudy and blue sky behind.
Just had a lovely sunny walk and learnt a thing or two!!
This crop is Quinoa pronounced (KEEN-wah) don’tyouknow!
It’s beautiful and shares the field with sunflowers. This is in West Yorkshire.
