Picture of me stretching/being bendy on a white couch. I've got my head tilted to the side while I do duck lips and a peace sign.
Further description of mt stretch is in the next picture.
Screenshot of a text to my guy bestie. I sent him the picture of my stretching and he said I'd have to show him in person because he didn't understand what was happening. So I described what I was doing in the picture.
Me: I have my leg under me while I lean my elbow into/in front of my other knee and hold a peace sign up with that hand, while I stretch back and have my other arm stretching behind.
I'm essentially just twisting at the waist while my legs are folded and leaning back while I twist my arms too.
Like the exorcist or whatever that crawly lady that spins around
Guy Bestie: I like how detailed you made that for me and this is why I appreciate you.
Me: But did I at least make 27℅ sense?
Me: I'm really good at alt text!!
Follow up Screenshot of text exchange.
Me: Yeah when you put a pic on Twitter or Bluesky or Facebook you're supposed to include alt text so the low vision + blind community can use their screen reader to describe the image.
So I essentially just described what I was doing in the pic, but with a spin on it to make you chuckle at my specificity. 😂
Yet another reason to use alt text: your friends will appreciate you even more!
You get also explain to them what alt text is!
And this is all because I'm bendy. 🤣
