God Sovereignty Over The Storm The sky fractures, out it does not rebel. Every rupture tethered to an unbroken will. Rain is released, not reckless. Thunder speaks, once allowed. The storm performs brief labor. What trembles; is never autonomous. What shakes ground; is contained. Power does not belong to the noise but to the One who sets its limits. The clouds exhaust themselves in surged command; nothing escapes or collides His rule.

Like “A Rock of Gibraltar” Like “A Rock of Gibraltar” I shall not be moved”— I learned stillness of pressure how weight clarifies intention how standing is an act of refusal. Storms arrive in paper and poem hands insisting I bend for convenience. I let them exhaust themselves on my outlines and lyrics— mistaking patience for permission. I do not advance. I do not retreat. Time edits moments around me. What remains; not pride but placement— to stay where truth contains me. Like “A Rock of Gibraltar” I shall not be moved”— from stubbornness, nor calibration a body set in erosion learns limits where endurance speaks language. They test me with soliloquy dressed as urgency— call: compromise, call: survival. I answer with silence that collapses posture and refuses translation. I am not waiting for permission or rescue. I am occupying my own gravity. History leans, then recalculates— finding me exactly where I said I would be.

Sorry; Not Sorry Petals cling too close, not of tenderness but strategy. she knows what's the costs to fall too soon- what happens when softness is mistaken for surrender. Justified smiles softly not as mercy; as clarity. The mouth learns how to curve slightly without apology- how to hold warmth and still remain silent.

Our Ancestors Walk I hear Miles Davis blowing blue notes through kelp forests and Langston's river flowing backward-through a garden of time.The current catches me spins me like a prayer wheel past sunken slave ships past Emmett's ghost-still walking these waters still calling out names. But something shifts the river's rhythm-syncs with my heartbeat with the drum circle my ancestors throwing every full seer, their moon in our kinship shadow world.
