The shape and colors of the kites look like an Alexander Calder mobile upside down. The shapes go from large on the left, down to small on the right. They are organic shapes, each a different color (red, blue, sea foam green, orange, yellow, pink and mauve), all of which are connected by lines representing strings. It's a minimalist design.

I did this design for one of my graphic design classes. It's a poster for an imaginary kite festival. My inspiration for the kites was a Calder mobile, then the main string contains event info.
