First data are in and show that Clathrus archeri, native to Australia and New Zealand, has conquered central Europe. Can't wait to see its distribution widen as the fruiting season begins in other parts of Europe!

The first group of our #FunDive #Barcoding Campaign finished their work! It was a busy three days, as 18 amazing people from 7 countries prepared 192 samples for #Nanopore sequencing! Every step was registered on the #PlutoF platform. We hope to publish the sequencing results soon!

Our PhD student Aneira Williams participated in the first #FunDive Barcoding Campaign in Warsaw. Together with 17 other participants, she extracted DNA from 216 fungal specimens and prepared 192 samples for Nanopore sequencing! Quite an exciting first week of the PhD! @jzpawlowska.bsky.social
