A peep at what I spent a silly number of hours struggling with today... (the scale/radius is also on a slider, but this is just the slider for resolution/subdiv on a circular grid)

Quick Geometrynodes test to get lowres stylized hair. The basemesh is from a metahuman character. I created curves from the haircard meshes, instanced child curves and meshed these. Finally i baked down everything with ucupaint.

dont know if there is a better way to access the render aspect ratio inside of #geometryNodes than to reference the rna path of the scene render setting. sensor size from the camera info node doesnt give me the ratio #b3d
