One of my favourite little beings, the glasswing butterfly or Greta oto. They are a species of a 'brush-footed' butterfly. They are mainly found in central America and are able to carry up to 40 times their weight.

The tricks of their transparency include sparse, spindly scales and a waxy coated membrane.
