So Rob's #BirdOfTheDay today is #GullsInWater I have quite a lot of photos of the Black Headed #Gulls on the River Severn in #Shrewsbury 😊. There is a few #Goosanders in amongst them but the gulls give them space 🙂. #Birds

Broadwood loch, Cumbernauld just a few miles from award winning Hogganfield Loch, Stepps, Glasgow. These urban lochs provide safe havens for #wildlife. Occasional migrants turn up like drake Smew - birds you see usually in distance come very close. I took this image 2016. #Goosanders

Light catching the #goosanders on the #EddlestonWater in #Peebles. Just 4 dotted amongst a much larger group of mallard ducks. Occasional conflict with fisheries managers due to stated predation effects on salmon.
