I finally got through a roll of HP5 with the Summilux between weather, and it's a great lens, but it is not worth a large multiple more than my Nikkor 50mm f1.4 AF-D to me.

The grayscale tones range from deep blacks in the dense grass shadows to bright silvery highlights where sunlight hits the plants and skin. The overall effect feels quiet and intimate, as if the person is resting or merging with the natural surroundings. The body appears calm and still within the tall grass, blending into the environment while also standing out through the contrast between the organic lines of the plants and the smooth curves of the human form.

A solitary can of beer stands on a public bench. The leftovers of a one-man party.
The Eumig Eumigetta. A collapsible lens camera that shoots medium format film and is made entirely of cast metal. The Eumigetta was launched by Austrian Eumig around 1951. Mine has the typical Eumig brown colour.
The shutter of the Eumigetta is a marvel of simplicity. One speed for all moments: 1/50s I had to regenerate a tension spring and straighten the shutter actuator. It’s a hell of a job to get it right.
Party for one.
