Two balls of wool laying on a work in progress. The lot is sitting on the seat of a gray sofa. The two balls of wool are both alpaca/merino/cashmere blends bought 40 years ago. They are mid 80s to the max. Purple variegated for one and the other a mix of white with acid yellow and hot pink bits, shades of gray, and a big swath of mint green. I am using both and doing helical stripes. It is a new technique for me and I am thrilled how well it looks. This is going to be an infinity scarf.
I have a collection of skeins of wool that I have picked up, no use in mind, just because it struck my fancy. I have tried a couple things and nothing worked. These 2 have sat for 40 years and are finally getting used together and an old dog learned a new trick, Helical stripes. #knitsky #kniting

Yip, I still wear knitwear in the summer. The only difference is the materials. Rather than wool, I wear my knitted linen clothes, Who said knitwear was only for winter!
