A mosaic image from Perseverance rover's Mastcam-Z shows the Martian landscape of Jezero Crater's delta. The image, taken on August 4, 2022, captures sedimentary rocks, including the Wildcat Ridge and Skinner Ridge sampling sites (lower left and upper right). These sites are key locations in the search for ancient microbial life on Mars. The rover's sample tubes, containing material from these locations, are destined for return to Earth.
