Deux hommes, vêtus de combinaisons de parachutisme assorties, d'un bleu et d'un rouge éclatants, sont en chute libre. L'homme au premier plan porte un casque noir à visière transparente, à travers lequel on aperçoit son visage. Il affiche un large sourire et semble exalté. Il est positionné légèrement plus haut dans le cadre, les bras écartés. Le second homme, situé en dessous et légèrement en retrait, porte également une casquette noire et des lunettes de protection transparentes. Son visage, lui aussi visible, rayonne d'une joie et d'une excitation similaires. Tous deux sont harnachés et en position de chute libre stable. Les combinaisons de parachutisme sont principalement bleu roi, avec des touches de rouge vif sur les manches et le long des jambes. La composition place les parachutistes au centre du cadre, leurs corps légèrement inclinés vers la droite, créant une impression de mouvement vers l'avant. A black and white bird with a large bill is perched on a suet feeder in winter. This is a Hairy Woodpecker. This photo was taken in our backyard, near Lake Placid in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. Hairy Woodpeckers are found throughout New York State, including the Adirondacks, year round. These woodpecker breed in a wide variety of habitats and elevations, but are said to prefer mature forests with medium to large trees. They are also found in wooded suburban areas.
