Een patrijs staat op de weg. De vogel kijkt naar rechts.
Een patrijs wandelt op het gemak over een weg. Een poot is opgetild. De vogel staat met de rug op de foto, waardoor het mooie verenkleed goed zichtbaar is.
De patrijs lijkt in de camera te kijken. De vogel staat stil. De patrijs staat op een weg. Daarachter ligt gras.
De patrijs gaat er snel vandoor. Op de voorgrond wat hoog gras, ander groen en gele bloemen. Daarachter de rennende patrijs op een zandpad.
Deze patrijs heeft mij laten schrikken door plotseling uit het hoge gras te vliegen. Maar daarna gelukkig wel even poseren voor de foto. 📷 Om er vervolgens snel vandoor te gaan...

A line of many tracks in a thin layer of undisturbed snow on a stone patio. Each footprint is three diverging lines, the centre one 2 to 3 times longer than the sides. They look like a cloud of little wayfaring arrows printed on the land, all urging us in the same direction.
Visited again yesterday by our local flock of partridges, but this time on a thin layer of fresh snow
I love that their tracks are like little arrows trailing over the landscape, like on a secret treasure map, but pointing backward… to confuse the predators?
