This is a very hard work to verbally describe but here goes: It's a Digital Hybrid work from a queue of previous works; some physical (analog) some digital (ethereal) and some fluid. I'm not even going there on fluid, but it's a method I use that stems from one of my processes—retting. This is essentially a duotone composition, tans and grays. A key figure, small and pushed back into the composition is standing with back to us, head turned to look a the viewer. 82 layers were recorded in the process of making this piece, in all three modes mentioned above. The myth is the public domain and the dream is the private myth. If your private myth, your dream, happens to coincide with that of the society, you are in good accord with your group. If it isn’t, you’ve got a long adventure in the dark forest ahead of you. If the path before you is clear, you’re probably on someone else’s. Myth must be kept alive. The people who can keep it alive are the artists of one kind or another. The function of the artist is the mythologization of the environment and the world. "Aluminium Sky," Where old aluminum touches the ever-renewing skies of Columbia. They exist in the air to remind us at times of all the ideas, thoughtful processings and meetings it does take to make wonder occur, when most folk believe wonder is a happening, not a design. So in this tumble of aluminum in the sky of the Vista, thoughts & memories in a virtual concrete act of tumbling into being exist as little neutrinos of memory, roads not taken, paths slipped onto as kindred & discreet asides sear perfect little holes & fissures into our controlled creative efforts. Each road is a real road, and each path is still revealed, for that is the way of the halls of memory when considered as neutrinos, which pierce all things, and are always there; always new, always beckoning. There is story in song; there is song in narrative. The visitations of imagery in mind can often open deftly crafted gates in walls that always seemed before to be solids, and without ingress for all. There are micro-fractures on sheer focused thought, even that which at such amplitude should bounce and repel softer visitations from the miasmas of our own pasts. Beautful modern bridge, all high temper concrete spans a river down at the bottom end of eastern Missouri. Kayakers and rafters galore! There's a cool old hotel right behind me, 1960's vintage, Great restaurant and bar :) I rented a room there for two nights just to chill and rest after a lot of pressing road miles.

For newcomers, The Gist with Morgan is a developing comic concept created as a tribute & parody to The Adventures of Tintin, as well as a revival of classic pulp adventure stories of the 1930s to early 60's, with most emphasis on interwar-era culture and some splashes of more contemporary elements intertwined. The premise revolves around the fumbling escapades of boy adventurer Morgan O'Callaghan, a photographer and documentarian whom endures all heaps of blunder & jeopardy alongside his pretentious, overconfident uncle Sheffield, their disgruntled, underzealous museum colleague Mr. Zemeckis, and their well-meaning but rather dodgy friends for handymen Will & Willis Berman. Whether following the footsteps of Sheffield's deceased father of globetrotting fame or working with the coppers on resolving cases, each situation is almost always guaranteed to get comically haphazard in one way or another. Both of which can involve the concept's perennial antagonist, Ray Reginald Royston, Sheffield's lifelong arch-enemy. Other things the concept takes influence from include Indiana Jones, Dick Tracy, The Venture Bros, and a couple other sources though not as recognizable as those three.
