Same view in landscape, ten years later. The view across a river valley, the distant hills, and the young oak leaves just uncurling on the branches of the oaks. The difference is time - 4 weeks earlier in the year.
Looking back in my photos for cherry blossom to illustrate season creep.. But these oaks illustrate it nicely.

View down a tree tunnel: a leaf strewn lane, bordered either side by tall leggy trees, the remains of extremely overgrown hedgerows that originally lined the lane. The trees meet overhead, casting a deep gloom over the path.

This is an old lane I walked past hundreds of times, without realising it was there (totally overgrown).
The council finally cleared it few yrs ago, for a cross country marathon.
(Just found out we're on the Tour de France route this year!!)
