Four hours of busy-ness!
Staff meeting
Straight to Assembly
Taught three 1-hour lessons, back-to-back
And STILL I haven't even used three #VisibleHealth PacePoints because
1. My resting HR is so low (Parasympathetic Swing Danger ๐จ!)
2. I have avoiding walking around much - and Exertion avoided
Visible Health Morning Stability of 3 out of 5 - Slightly out of balance
Woke up full of energy after a quite active day-off yesterday (although I did stay within my 'Energy Envelopes' for #VisibleHealth PacePoints and for #KiActiv Movement).
Resting Heartrate is very low and Heartrate Variability very high - Signs of a slight #ParasympatheticSwing
Feb 8th to March 10th 2024. Very up and down
Feb 9th to March 12th 2025 - fewer extremes but up and down
Feb 9th to March 10th 2026. Mostly 4 out of 5

This comes from careful heartrate monitoring and #Pacing
Heartrate graph shows lots of lying down in between each set of exercises
Just 7.7 out of today's 30 pacepoints used! Well behind the pacesetter
Cooked a meal and thought that was it for the day; but after lying down for 30 minutes I decided to go to the gym after all.
I don't regret it! Feeling much better in myself and still FIFTEEN #VisibleHealth PacePoints behind today's PaceSetter ๐
I've managed so much today by #Pacing!

Just under an hour strimming the long grass in our garden.
Of course, under half of that time involved strimming and much of it was Deliberate Rest ๐
Thankful for the #VisibleHealth app in helping me to Pace and to my separate #CoospoFitness armband for the Warning Buzzes!
Visible Health pacepoints: 5.1 out of 30 daily pacepoints used - well behind my pacesetter (I should be around 18 by now!)
Strange ๐ค
8 hours later. Been to work, taught three one-hour lessons to teenagers, had lunch, went shopping, then home for my early Friday finish.
All that and only FIVE #VisibleHealth PacePoints used ๐ค
Forgot to take painkillers when teaching so had dental pain by 1pm, but why is my HR so low?
Visible Health morning stability 4 out of 5 - Looking Stable
Whereas on those two occasions I waited too long to address my dental infection, resulting in a drop of 10ms in my Heartrate Variability (HRV) scores, this morning my HRV is actually *rising* ๐
The #VisibleHealth app notes Stability and a low resting heartrate; infection is being knocked-back?

Heartrate monitoring every minute. Exertion on treadmill and during some weight training. Lots of lying on the floor!
Coming to the end of a very carefully-paced session at the #NuffieldHealth Fitness Centre.
So interesting to get a new insight via the updated #VisibleHealth PacePoints tracker ๐
Running parallel to my daily pacesetter during my gym session, but PacePoints in-hand due to deliberate late start.

2:45pm
Mind-blowing! 2km walked - very slowly - and I'm almost at town.
Less than one #VisibleHealth pacepoint used and I've not felt this good in years.
I'm going to keep stopping to sit and rest on every bench, as I know what's at stake, but this feels amazing!

I've lazed-around all day so far.
Going to try the flat walk into town again; I know where all the sitting and resting places are, and it's SUCH a sunny day โ๏ธ
ELEVEN #VisibleHealth PacePoints behind today's pacesetter.
As long as I'm cautious, as ever, I'll be fine. Maybe catch bus home ๐

The joy of a weekend lie-in, as a relatively high-functioning person with #LongCovid ๐
Current heartrate nice and low, at 50bpm!
No #VisibleHealth PacePoints used, because I'm still in bed and I've not used any of my limited energy supply yet.
The second image shows that I've got 4 PP in hand ๐

5:30pm Friday. I've avoided exertion today ๐ despite having taught my lessons *and* doing lunch duty around much of the school site.

At work for 9.5 hours, including 5 hours of actual teaching of teenagers, and THIS ๐ is what #pacing looks like ๐
Look at the gradient of that line - staying well below the diagonal line of my daily Pacesetter ( #VisibleHealth ) ๐
Only possible because I started the day Stable & Ready.
Visible Health HRV on waking each morning
10 days ago, we travelled abroad for the first time since I started to properly monitor my heartrate (HR) and heartrate variability (HRV).
It broke my routine and it's interesting to see how, despite careful #pacing, I struggled to maintain my HRV ๐

Here is an interesting new graphical display by #VisibleHealth which shows how my REST over the past half-hour has reduced the gradient of my 'Pacepoints Use' line, giving me a better chance of falling back in-line with today's Pacesetter ๐
Another tool to aid my #Pacing and to avoid overexertion.
21.1 out of 30.0 pacepoints used
Had lunch (which raised my heartrate) and then taught another lesson (which also led to exertional heartrates).
Useful new #VisibleHealth display shows how I pulled-ahead of my daily Pacesetter even more...

First day back at work (secondary teaching) following the half-term break.
An unexpected fire alarm, followed by three very active 1-hour lessons have put me slightly ahead of today's #VisibleHealth pacesetter.

10,000 steps. Lots of sitting down. The telescopic stool really has been brilliant.
Pushed my 'energy envelopes' a bit, slightly exceeding my daily limit for 'Moderate' movement ( #KiActiv smartwatch movement data ) - but I'm well-within my #VisibleHealth pacepoints limit, as I've avoided Exertion.

My new telescopic stool had its first use - as we waited for passport control ๐
Managed to keep within my energy envelopes, as measured by movement ( #KiActiv ) and by #VisibleHealth Pacepoints ๐
Now to sleep. We're staying a 4-minute stroll from a rather iconic landmark!
Visible Health donut graph showing just 3.5 out of 30 points used
Amazing to attend tonight's Band rehearsal without having had a full day's work beforehand!
Ending the day TWENTY-SIX #VisibleHealth Pacepoints behind today's Pacesetter, as my Heartrate has remained LOW.
Just 3.5 PacePoints used all day.
Handy, as we've got a LONG journey tomorrow ๐๐

5pm on Monday of the half-term break. Got some 'holiday marking' cleared ๐
Sign of a slight #ParasympatheticSwing on waking this morning, so I've pretty-much rested all day, apart from 10 minutes of pruning in the garden ๐

At the gym on a Sunday evening - The joys of having a week off work! ๐
My heartrate has been so low over the past week, and I've been #pacing so effectively, that I'm miles behind my daily #VisibleHealth pacesetter.
It's great to be able to actually *EXERCISE* a little.

Visible Health Looking Stable 4 out of 5. HRV higher than recent average
KubiosHRV 73% readiness
As I was within my usual ranges for the Heartrate data used by #VisibleHealth and by the #KiActiv app, they both suggested that everything was fine - And I do indeed feel great!
Both identified an elevated Heartrate Variability (HRV) however...
