A plethora of coloured patterned mosaic lamp globes, lit, hanging from a store ceiling in Casablanca, Morocco. All the large ones are uniquely designed, some perhaps oriental style, while two strings of other smaller reddish/pink and white ones both left and right spiral into the back of the store. The ceiling is unattractive; murky brown and patterned suggesting a very old shop. There are a few wall plates, and the hint of an intricate arched doorway leads to the outside.

Titled "The Toronto Man," this 25-foot sculpture of a man in a white shirt and grey pants holding a condo building while standing atop a pile of multicoloured building blocks is by artist Stephan Balkenhol. A controversial piece, as to some it sums up all that is wrong with the unchecked development in the city today, it is located on St Clair Avenue West near Yonge Street.

Two two-story buildings on Camden Road, near Camden Market in London, advertise their wares in their shops below by highly decorating the top half of the buildings. On the left, a large yellow Converse shoe sticks out so it looks like it’s kicking the building. The shoe is surrounded by three nearly blank cutout figures wearing yellow shoes (Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, man with purple guitar, mustache, and hat—I’m not 100% sure who it’s meant to represent). The building on the right has yellow frames along the top and around the four windows. The wall is a variety of India-inspired patterns and colors. The most prominent feature is the elephant’s head protruding in the center. It is yellow, with decorations in red and red and yellow tusks.
