While Kerserlis practices negative self talk, the museum’s faulty doors prove to be an ally for our fox friend. “It’s out!” This was a turn she was not expecting.
Surprised by her chance to escape, Kerserlis gains a new determination. She grabs a mouth full of shattered gem, and scrambles up a wall, out of a window.
Kerserlis lays the gem at the foot of the Goddess. She apologizes for only bringing back shards of it, admitting that she might not be any better than the humans by stealing. Wait, was that a sign that the Goddess still appreciated her effort? Or was it just a breeze? Kerserlis moves on and tries to do better.

Whoops, our fox friend spills some soda on the computer! How is a fox supposed to know electronics and liquids don’t mix? Well, she knows now. She runs, but hopefully those ketchup footprints won’t rat her out!
Behold, the Goddess’ jewel! While our fox admires it, the security guard sneaks up from behind. Oh no, during the struggle the beautiful gem is bumped and shatters!
Our whisp-fox is dragged away and thrown into a janitor’s closet. While the security guard is shaken by her strange appearance, Kerserlis mourns her poor life choices. If only she didn’t give into temptation. I’m sure it’s not the first time someone has been caught red-pawed, with ketchup.
Kerserlis’ Mission: pgs 4-6. Whoops, turns out fox-spirits don’t know soda and computers do not mix! Also, let’s be real, this foiled plan is clearly the security guard’s fault, for using so much ketchup on his burger.
