You’re always making me nervous
with all the bustling & scurrying
when I look down.
You can’t be all on the move
all of the time.
And sometimes when I close
my eyes at night, I can’t,
because even then, there’s
too much light. One day,
we need to have an earnest talk.
Despite all of the hurrying
& scurrying, I love the view
From up here, especially in spring
When earth is in bloom again,
Reborn in green 6 people fall
In love (of course, they also
Fall in love in other seasons
& when they do, it’s spring again).
Yesterday evening, I wrote a poem for #BSPP23 "through the eyes of the sky". Reading it back, I found it a bit too pessimistic. So I wrote another one, trying to make it more positive. Here are both for your critical examination.
