A purple blossom not fully open, with yellow pistils & a fuzzy purple stamen in the center. The petals have longitudinal creases and, the tips are slightly curved outwards.
Fuzzy, light green seed heads, not yet ripened. Not as compact as dandelion seed heads, more untamed looking. They are sunlit against a background of very dark green leaves & shadows.
