A woven band still on the loom. The band has a lilac border of about a 1/4 inch on either side. In between are warp (up and down threads) in light blue, medium blue, and dark purple. The alternating three warp colors creates a speckled cloth when woven in plain weave. In some areas, pick-up has been done to create diamond and heart motifs.

I've mostly been lurking lately because life got wildly busy (in a good way) and also anxiety, but I just returned from our annual weaving retreat and feel refreshed. I'm also newly obsessed with 3-color pick-up. Look at how cool this is?! #inkle #weaving #inkleweaving

The correct side of my tablet woven band. It is a white band with a red chevron running through it as a pattern. It is currently being woven on my inkle loom.

The wrong or incorrect side of the tablet woven band. It still shows the white and red chevron design, but it's broken up.

Yarn arrived yesterday and trying out something new.

I have no idea what I’ll do with this band when finished. That doesn’t matter though. The process and the possibilities are the main focus part. I’ll figure out a use for it eventually.

Something seems to be going in at last. I warped up pattern 2 from #applesiesandfoxnoses and even had roughly the same colours, which made things easier. No mistakes in the warping order or the card orientation - wahoo! Next to tackle, maintaining a consistent width #inkleweaving #tabletweaving

A band woven on an inkle loom, in turned krokbragd.

I've seen a lot of turned krokbragd bands recently. I never shared the band that I designed and wove about 18 months ago.

I was really pleased with how it turned out, and it made a great strap for a bag made from a boundweave sample
