This #OldTree, bare in winter, was found at #RockyFork in #Westerville, #Ohio. Taken with my #NikonD810.
A tree snag can been seen in the foreground. Mid ground is tan grassland and Ponderosa Pine in the Rocky Mountain Trench near Cranbrook BC. The ground is partly covered in snow. The background is snowy Steeple Mountain Range (Part of the Rockies) with wispy clouds of cold air shrouding the peaks in winter afternoon sun.

We visited the cemetery today; also visited our old friends, the trees. I’ve climbed and sat in this tree many a time, years ago. Now we are older, gnarled; so we just stand next to each other and reminisce.
