The Weight of Pleasure Weight… it's a gravitational pull Like the vast expanse of an ocean full; Wait… a Whisper in impassioned tones And clothing thrown like scattered stones; Weight… in the form of building bliss A flick of a tongue against wet lips; Wait… as they hover upon the brink A shaft deliberately paused until ready to sink; Weight… as your body plunges deep into my pride With hips rising in response, and energies collide; Wait… is the plea that is cried in lust This intimate pain created in trust; Weight… is the pressure felt in the heart One so heavy as bodies began to part; Wait… said I to my lover true "Don't worry" they growled, "we're nowhere near through"...

“The Gift of True Love” I used to wear Rose colored glasses. Love was sooo naive and fun, and I had no idea how it was to be done. Little flirts here, Making eyes there; Poems and Odes Professed The blossoming Sighs Within my heart. That crushing tightness, That asphyxiation lightness; My soul flew and drew upon those named "you". Heaven and hell I'd try to quell Just to catch a glimpse... (A sense) (A touch) (A smell) (A word) But it all came crashing down, Naught but limerence Was found. And my heart did break; My soul crushed Like a little Birthday smash cake. Those rose tinted spectacles; Ripped from my face Shattered under the weight Of realizing the Realism of it all. I didn't have What it would take… To journey beyond The shallow lake (...of what was To what could be There with any of thee...) Until - I was late. Shocked! I was able to create. (I was able To Create…!) And in that when That feeling Within, That bloom of Cherished hope; My petals began to unfurl And lay bare; A mother's heart Beating Like a beacon. A Lion's share Of love Was born And I was aware. d. Marie
