Then put a check mark or asterisk by those you never knew were the result of trauma. Ask, how do your feelings about yourself change when you see that these problems or symptoms are all part of the living legacy of trauma? Choose four of your most troubling or difficult trauma symptoms and than ask yourself: How did this help me survive, get through?
