A long rectangle of woven fabric. There are four central squares, each of which is a napkin, and two end pieces with experiments. The warp is white on the sides and gray in the center. Each napkin has two weft stripes with an overshot pattern in a dark color at the start and end.

Cloth being woven on the loom. The warp on the loom is visible, and is lime green. The cloth has a white plain-weave border on either end. Between the plain weave the cloth is weft-faced (you can only see the side-to-side threads). Patterns on the cloth include stripes, boxes, and wavy lines in white, three shades of purple, and lime green.
I also took a krokbragd on the rigid-heddle loom class. I had some trouble remembering which step I was on at any given time, but I did love playing with shape and color. I'm going to rethread for double-heddle krokbragd (we used a pick-up stick and heddle rod) and see if that feels better. #weaving
A woven band still on the loom. The band has a lilac border of about a 1/4 inch on either side. In between are warp (up and down threads) in light blue, medium blue, and dark purple. The alternating three warp colors creates a speckled cloth when woven in plain weave. In some areas, pick-up has been done to create diamond and heart motifs.
I've mostly been lurking lately because life got wildly busy (in a good way) and also anxiety, but I just returned from our annual weaving retreat and feel refreshed. I'm also newly obsessed with 3-color pick-up. Look at how cool this is?! #inkle #weaving #inkleweaving

A linen warp on a honey-colored wooden loom. Only the reed and beater are visible on the loom. The beater has a transparent ruler sticker on it. The warp is fine linen with its natural silver matte color. The weaving pattern has a visible diagonal texture. In the foreground the diagonal has a low angle - this fabric was made with very fine weft matching the warp so the pattern is compressed. About two inches of the cloth (the most recently woven/closest to the fell) uses a thicker warp so the texture is more evident and the diagonal angle is steeper but still well below 45deg.
Switching from 60/1 to 40/2 weft for a change of scale (same draft hw.net 12865). I think I have some unbleached 16/2 for later too. #weaving #handweaving 🧶

The white balls are tagged Hobble Hill Farm LLC, www.hobblehill.com 70% Suri 30% merino 200 yards/4 oz 3 ply worsted weight. The variegated ball tag has a picture of a colorful alpaca on it and says Mother Natures Finest Fiber USA Alpaca DK weight ...it *says* dk weight but it's just as thick as the hobble hill worsted weight which is a good reminder to guage your own yarn rather than trust a label
