It is a sunny day. A small, iridescent green and white Ruby-throated Hummingbird, either a female or immature male, hovers in mid-air to the left of a decorative teal glass hummingbird feeder. Its wings are blurred with motion, and its long beak is pointed towards the feeder's red ports. The bird's partial shadow can seen below. The feeder rests on a brown surface, with a soft, blurred green background.
Here we see a Ruby-Throated #Hummingbird approaching the ever helpful and, no doubt, much appreciated feeder. This tiny avian marvel is an expert pollinator and insect minimizer. Sometimes the tiniest make the biggest differences.
