Day 30 wrap up.
Overall, November was a slower month for me. I shot for about 15~20k words and ended up around 11.7k. While I’m disappointed, I’m not that upset. I did more writing in November vs October, and I still have December to squeeze in some more words before the year is done.
#Writevember Nov 30: Forgot to do this yesterday, but: November was a banger! Finished drafting and got through the Act One overhaul. Now I'm printing out a full manuscript & plan to do a full read & markup in December.
I ended up FAR busier this month than I expected, so rather than using #writevember / #novelnovember like I'd intended and taking a break from the business side, I ended up using different creative muscles to get more time-sensitive things off the ground.

I wrote 30k words, finished and refined a few chapters that need finishing/refining and have hit the part where I waste time doing boring character-building before I write this MMF bisexual threesome scene before everybody marches off to die in a heist. Good times.

Final accountability post for November. Day 30.
I wrote 1,901 words tonight. I'm in the turn now. The MC is falling apart and I feel like I'm going with them.
I won't post these everyday anymore, but I'm going to keep working on this.

I’m just shy of my goal which was 20 chapters/halfway through #LionGirl
Ended up with 19 chapters, so not bad though! (Ignore the fact that I’ve split up some chapters and will probably split more, so that 40 chapter outline’s moot :v)

Vardan is a stocky man with brown skin and long, purple hair while Eric is about the same height but much more lightweight. Eric is a bond man with fluffy animal ears. Vardan lays on his back while Eric burrows under his arm. Eric's ears are pinned to the sides of his head but Vardan pets his hair soothingly.

A big of a mixed bag! Was honestly hoping I'd have finished the entire draft and maybe start on edits and fixes as well and have it ready to be sent around, but at the very least I put together a quite engaging story whose first draft I'll be completing later tonight :D
I have 700 words to write to meet my #writevember goal but I made mulled wine and am watching Christmas shows instead send motivation please

I went with 40k words total because there's no rules anymore and that's more manageable to me. I'm finished them all, and I'm so ready for a break! 🎉

I'm not satisfied with what I've written for #ChefsKiss & it's nowhere near a completed draft (i'm like, 2 chaps in), but I am proud of myself for taking a break when my brain screamed for one. I miss writing and I think I'm about ready to jump back in. Wish me luck for December!

I wrote a little more than 27k words out of my 30k goal, which is a fairly good attempt. I finished Act 1 of THE CRUCIBLE OF THE BROKEN MOON, so I achieved a solid milestone. I'll return to it in 2026, after I publish THE DEVOURING. #Writevember #WritingCommunity

Well I fell far short of my goal of 60K, but that's alright since it was a long shot 😅
I did write about 35K words all together though! 24Kish were the first chapters of #Charagma, the book I intended to write. 11Kish were #Tenement, the book I'd been stuck on since Sept 😂
#Writevember i'm hovering at 56,450 words. Still got a bit left to go, but I'm happy with the amount of work I did this month.
Day 30 of 30 of #Writevember and I have not written anywhere near 30,000 words. Bummer.
It isn't all bad news, however. I've been able to draft a few key scenes and discovered a dozen ways not to write one scene in particular.

I did manage to hit my primary goal of finishing draft one of Below Bludeye Beach ❤️❤️ I am proud of getting it out and there are a few key moments that I'm really happy with, but I know it's got plenty to fix 😂
#writevember I have finished up at 60,500 1st draft fiction words for the month. Full disclosure, 12K of those were spent on a smutty novella related to the main project, and the rest was spent on the main novel-length work.
I have exactly one more chapter to go before it's done 💜 then it may rest

Day 22) Last week was a slow week (2.7k words). My mental health has been struggling but I saw the doctor over the weekend and, based on my hormone balance (which is bad), he's astonished I'm functional at all.

As I write "Story of a Changeling", I'm realizing that a lot of key moments in Amber and Juliana's friendship involve them being in physical contact with each other.

My post-edits Reader caught a typo that evaded the entire editing process.
An independent bookstore agreed to carry Butterfly On a Wheel on consignment in the Local Authors section.

I finally finished the 1st big movt. in #LionGirl! (There's about 3 more to go, but I'll take it :) )
This Nov. really hit me, so I've tried to adjust my expectations and stretch writing the first full draft across two monthes. I think I can still make it! ^^;

I hit my word goal for the month, but my real goal is to finish the first draft of Below Bludeye Beach. I spent the last week traveling for work & family and couldn't keep up my preferred pace, but I think I'll be able to finish the draft this week ☺️
Week 3 update: a little late (and under the weather) but we did it! We reached the halfway mark of my WIP!

Bonus: I'm not much of a plotter but I keep a journal with all my ideas! I just knew I wanted to write a romantasy about selkies and the rest kinda spiraled from there!
