Ok, I'm starting a rabbit hole document for my research. I go deep into these holes (maybe tangents, maybe central) during the semester when I'm not actually writing, & it's easy to lose track of them. Instead of trying to file them, I'll make one master RabbitHole doc with links. #AmNotWriting
You don't need flowery words or poetic prose to be a writer. You don't need some profound message or heartwarming theme.
All you have to do is write. (Which is arguably the hardest part 😂)

A confession. #AmNotWriting I've been really struggling to write this year. I've lost the energy but the urge is fleetingly there. We had a terrible start to the year, family deaths (2 within months) & kitten deaths (8wks old from leukemia), prolonged illness and other unresolved crap.

Prose dialogue: “Here’s the thing, Tech Support… at heart, we’re all narcissists. Given a choice, the first thing we’ll usually reach for is the option that makes us feel better about ourselves. That’s the value of philosophy. You train the mind to prefer the options that are going to be the most productive, the most pro-social. You make it so that doing the right thing is your first choice, the one you would always want to make. Problem is, propaganda does the same thing, but in the other direction.
