A colorful leaf covered trail winds through a forest of yellow-leafed trees with skinny black trunks. Some low-lying greenery lines the path. But the majority of color on and around the trail is yellow and rust colored leaves.

Sony a6400, Sigma 18-50mm lens, f/8, 1/30s, ISO-200, 18mm. I had to kneel on the ground to get this shot, and at 73, that ain't easy. A guy was strolling by behind me with his dog and saw me struggle upright, and I laughed and said, "Gets harder every year." He smiled; he was older too. :)

This path leads down to the river. It's long and steep, but one day soon I'll follow it! The pretty leaves on the ground were on the trees just a couple or three days ago. That's how quickly they fell where I live.
