I am running with both feet off the ground, right foot forward. The Cheltenham racecourse stand is in the background and half a dozen other runners are in view. I'm a middle-aged white man with swept-back dark hair, round sunglasses, a blue and white Sue Ryder running vest (number 6066), black shorts, and light teal running shoes.

Facebook post: Matt Hodgkinson 5 Jul 2018 Six weeks ago, I changed my morning routine from getting the 7:40 train to the 7:10 due to rail chaos (https://www.facebook. com/matt.hodgkinson.75/posts/10156155133181071), when I realised I could get up 5 mins earlier and shower at work. I also realised I could jog the ~2km from King's Cross to my work (http://walkit.com/walk/?city=london&from=london+king%27s+cross&fuid=4 24175_512795&to=1+fitzroy+square&tuid=391296_456015&rta =old&direct=no2#nogo). With one week off for when we were in France, I now don't need to take my inhaler before, during or after the run, and today for the first time I didn't need to walk (other than waiting for traffic) to catch my breath.

Hot weather for the #BracknellHM this morning. Faded a bit towards the end but managed sub 2 hour and was 6th in my age category (out of...23 🤣)
1st #HM since I was hit by a car in 2022 while running. 😀👍.

Yesterday I got my #hearingaids fitted. I'm starting to get use to them and they seem to be making a big difference, but it's going to take a while! (Not for #running of course 🙂)

My Garmin Venu suffered badly from burn-in. That puts me off amoled. But I'm colour blind and MIPs is less bright. Which to choose? 🤔 Thoughts?

Photos are of the Grade II* listed #ReadingTownHall. It's now home to a museum and concert hall. The current frontage was built in 1875 in Victorian Gothic style.

Didn't sleep well so got up early and watched the Chinese #F1 sprint race and qualifying for tomorrow's race. Then decided to go for a #run to regain the 1 VO² point #Garmin took away yesterday. Expected to struggle but in the end, it felt okay 👍.
