An arched, lichen-covered twig in a tree. Most of the lichen is a bright yellow sunburst lichen, with its little alien-like disc shapes all up and down the twig. There is also a tuft of pale sea-green oakmoss or cartilage lichen at the top of the arch.

The gilled bottoms of some fuzzy white mushrooms on a stick. On one fungus are two mites, one seemingly immature. Top left on the stick is another adult moss mite.
These guys are not spiders but fungi-eating moss mites (Damaeidae undet.) on slipper fungi (Crepidotus undet.)

Amanita muscaria, a mushroom with a thick stipe - this one off-white in color and standing about 10 inches tall - and a dome-shaped (or Frisbee-shaped, in this case) cap, grows out of dark, fir needle-covered ground. A short, skirt-like ring of flesh hangs from where the stipe and cap meet. The cap is orange in color and covered in many white warts, or patches, that are slightly spaced apart.
This Amanita muscaria had a perfectly shaped cap 👌🏼🍄 a nice skirt, too!

地衣類の観察会へ
地衣類を初めて剥ぎ取ったのですが、すぐポロンと剥がれたので、やっぱり木に根付いてる訳ではないんだなと実感。。。
そして剥ぎ取ったものを試薬を使用し呈色反応を観察
地衣成分を調べないと同定は言い切れなく難しいことなんだと改めて理解しました。。。
んーーー難ムズ難ムズですが、、
菌類はバナナより人間に近いから〜と始めの説明を思い出し、ん〜知りたいことは楽しも〜♪

Acid green big soft moss tufts and grey reindeer lichen (Cladonia) mounds protrude from a darker green moss and lichen patchwork coating the cliff face, with a few liverworts, invasive grasses, and quite a few red leaved Herb Roberts (the invasive european geranium) barging in. There is also a villainous himalayan blackberry shoot in the middle right side that stabbed me with its prickle as I sidled up the scree at the base of the cliff to take this photo.
Moss tussocks with reindeer lichen on a cliff. In the summer the south facing bluff is xeric and bakes in the sun and wind, but right now the stone seeps with water from the forest slope above, and swells with rain as the atmospheric rivers roll through.
