Join the Wisconsin Dragonfly Society as we explore some of the unique habitats of the northeastern corner of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in Price and Vilas counties.
Some of the species that we expect to see during our field trips include Shadow, Lake, Mottled, Black-tipped, Fawn and Subarctic Darners. We also hope to encounter a variety of Somatochora [sic], including Williamsons, Ski-tipped and possibly Lake Emeralds, as well as Dragonhunters, Black-shouldered Spinylegs, and a variety of Bluets, Spreadwings, and Skimmers.
Check in begins at 8:30 am Saturday morning at the Movrich Community Park Pavilion. Walk-ins are welcome but we would prefer for participants to RSVP by sending an email to Registration@WIDragonflySociety.org
