,an adenovirus protein triggers “rogue” antibodies in unlucky people with combination of genetic background a particular mutation in their antibody producing #Bcells. Instead of targeting a viral protein, the rogue antibodies bind to PF4, setting off a dangerous cascade.
☕Scourzic et al. showed that germinal centre #Bcells display an enhanced ability to #reprogram to induced pluripotent stem cells compared to mature B cells. This ability indicates their higher #plasticity level and is T follicular helper cell-dependent.
