A cecropia moth clinging to the bottom of a brick wall. The wall is alternating red and white bricks and the moth is over three of them. It is a very colorful moth. The head, legs, and antennae are all red. There is a white line that goes from the head all the way through the abdomen. There are red dots on the white line on the abdomen. There are also thin white vertical stripes on the abdomen. The hind wing is mostly brown, but is surrounded by white along the upper and lower edges. In the middle is a large white crescent surrounded by a dark lin. Below the brown is a white line, then a thicker red line. Below that is a thin brown line, tan circles with brown dots in the middle, a very thin brown line, another white line, and brown along the outer edge. The forewing is similar, but without the white on the outer edges. At the outer edge, the tan line consists of vertical ovals with a large dark circle toward the outer edge. It has a white curve near the top.
